A: It depends on the urgency of your complaint. For a routine physical, we can usually get you in within two weeks. It is best to call earlier in the morning if you think you need to be seen more urgently.
Q: What can I expect my first appointment to be like?
A: When you come into the office, you will fill out some paperwork and the medical assistant will check your height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature. The practitioner will then greet you, obtain a medical history, perform an exam, and together, you and the practitioner will develop a plan for your next steps (e.g., medication, bloodwork, or physical therapy).
Q: Do I need to bring any documents or special information to my initial appointment?
A: A driver’s license and your insurance information would be helpful.

A: You and your treating practitioner will decide together on the use of herbs, homeopathy, or medication depending on the type of complaint and the appropriateness of the medication and therapeutic modality. Usually, your treatment will comprise of a medley of both worlds.

A: Hersey Health Care Clinic shares 24-hour call coverage with other doctors and nurse practitioners. If you are having a problem after hours, you can call the clinic at 541.482.7047, and the answering service will direct you. We do not use tape machines or prompts. You will speak to a person when you call.
